The subtitle says alot, "American Riverboat Structure and Detail." Salted with lore, with a nod to the modelmaker.  The book is loaded with pencil sketches of construction details and arrangements.  It does not contain historically accurate engineering but any good modeler could easily build a convincing model from the information provided.
